One of our clients based in the US is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team working fully remote from South Africa.
As the ideal individual, you will be inquisitive and collaborative, have an analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude and have a sound understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
You will require the ability to work on multiple projects across various verticals simultaneously.
Requirements:
- Working US hours (SA hours -> 3pm-11pm)
- At least 3 years proven experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience in data visualization tools either/all, e.g., Miro, Visio, Power BI, QlikView Tableau, etc.
- Develop Business Case, Define Business Requirements, Develop impact assessment reports
- Functional specifications (incl. context diagrams; activity diagrams; sequence diagrams; UML diagrams; entity specifications)
Analysis:
- Conduct an As-is analysis
- Conduct a To-be analysis
- Business Change impact Assessments
- Testing Support
- Training material – QA and assistance
Business Solutions & Design:
- Business solutions design / Business realisation plans / Transition Road maps analysis
- Business process analysis and design (incl. process, procedures documentation; process taxonomies; value chain models; system maps; etc.)
- Ensure Business rules integration by noticing gaps between business processes and business rules
- Produce impact assessment report, gap analysis report, and conduct analysis on possible impacts to business and processes.

Post-design Support:
- Testing Support
- Business Change impact Assessments
- Training material – QA and assistance
- Post implementation support
Skills Required:
- Exposure to or interest in Big Data technologies or working with large datasets
- Experience in analytical research/methodologies
- Superior applied Excel knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or other Engineering field, Computer Science, Mathematics, or any similar field
