Customer Technical Support (Packaging)
Qualifications:
– Matric Certificate & Tertiary qualification in Sales / Marketing / Packaging / Supply Chain / Mechanical or
Industrial Engineering is essential.
Job Requirements:
– 5 years technical experience in a FMCG or packaging environment is required.
– Experience in Corrugated manufacturing will be advantage
– Must be results-orientated.
– Competitive by nature.
– Customer focussed.
– Able to perform under pressure.
– Have good organisational ability.
– Must be computer literate

Your key responsibilities will be:
– Manage the Customer Complaint Handling (NCR) system – including registering, issuing, investigation, visits,
corrective/preventative actions, reports and feedback to customers, and daily and weekly reporting.
– Customer Technical Support, including Technical visits, Customer production line liaison, Technical Market
Watch (product value chain) and Product optimization
– Customer Trials – Manage trials on-site, consolidate information between sales and production, ensure the
trial runs as efficiently and effectively, liaise with customers, and sign-off new jobs.
– Benchmarking – understand what competitors are doing in the market and how we compare
– Product optimisation and development.
– Paper optimisation – assist with projects to rationalise, optimise and improve paper costs
– Ensure that you operate within the “Safety rules to live by” at all times.
– To comply with all the quality, safety, environmental, and legal procedures within the parameters of the
company’s management systems.
– To adhere to all legal and lawful instructions from your immediate superiors.
