• Assist with escalations from 2nd line support engineers
  • Provide 3rd line datacentre software support
  • Preventative maintenance (Patch management)
  • Analysis and reporting on system health
  • Architect new solutions
  • Document implementations and provide SOP’s

Minimum Requirements:

Matric / Grade

Tertiary Qualification – IT Certification / Diploma Degree

Certification in either: MCSE, VCP, CCE, HPE (DC) (end User), DELL (DC) (end user), VMWare, VEAAM

Min 7 years’ experience supporting ITC environments

  • Cloud Services: Azure, AWS, Google cloud
  • Virtualisation: VMware vSphere, MS Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV
  • Citrix Virtualisation
  • Application Delivery Controllers: F5, Citrix, FortiADC
  • Operating Systems: All Microsoft & Linux
  • MS infrastructure: Active Director, Exchange, SQL, SCCM
  • Backups: Veeam, Backup Exec
  • Monitoring: N-Central, SCOM, PRTG, WhatsUp, Solarwinds, Nagios, Quest
  • Antivirus: McAfee, ESET, Symantec, Kaspersky
  • End User computing
  • Storage area network
  • Networking

Must have Valid Drivers Licence and own reliable transport for business travel
