Scrum Master

Location: Sandton, Johannesburg
Private Hospital client seeks to employ a Scrum Master.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow an agile methodology for all the identified delivery objectives
- Sprint Ceremonies: Facilitate daily standups (or the daily scrum) as needed, and facilitate internal sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives based on the scrum team constructs and requirements
- Delivery Management: Identify impediments related to risks, issues, or blockers during the delivery cycle
- Document and prioritize them for further resolution by management
- Drive DevOps adoption through active usage of DevOps dashboard and reviewing the product backlog
- Drive communication and status updates through DevOps and to encourage DevOps work management and delivery tracking
- Ensure quality assurance and user acceptance testing reviews during the delivery cycle, and schedule show and tell sessions with the Business as required
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with organizational and DMA policies and guidelines and adhere to any regulatory requirements relevant to the project
- Reporting: Establish channels for effective communication within the team to provide regular updates on team progress during the reporting channels within the DMA team
- Reporting on progress per solution based on internal and external reporting requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree NQF level 7 in computer science, software engineering, information technology, business administration
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Experience working in a Scrum Master or Project Management role
- Experience with Microsoft DevOps and managing product backlogs
- Familiarity with data tools, programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL), and platforms like SAP BW, SSRS, PowerBi, or Microsoft Azure.
