BUSINESS ANALYST
PURPOSE
- To identify, document and interpret high level business requirements as well as understand and interpret business impact to determine how requirements can be translated into useable solutions and enhancements through synthesis, review and testing of solutions up to implementation.
- To develop and implement critical business solutions by establishing methodologies and using modelling techniques as well as facilitating and communicating content to stakeholders, ultimately supporting the business and Project Managers through project involvement and completion across all business areas to achieve the Bank’s and LBIC’s business strategic objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS - A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Informatics/Information System/Information Technology/Computer Science or related field.
EXPERIENCE - 5 years’ experience including:
- Analyst role preferably within the Financial Sector or Financial Services environment
- Knowledge of SAP
- Systems Analyst or Business analyst on IT projects or any other type of project.
- Sound Business Analysis, Business process design/engineering and mapping skills
- Project management knowledge
- Microsoft Office Applications
- SAP ERP, SAP Banking, MSS/ESS Portal, Business Objects
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Requirement gathering, analysis and compilation of user requirement specifications and system mapping guides - Develops business process and system models for design
- Designs business solutions to parallel overall business strategies
- Documents user requirements
- Performs a gap analysis
- Documents the requirements clearly and concisely, creating a blueprint for the project – serves as a reference point for stakeholders.
- Produces accurate mapping of ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes
- Produces Functional System Specifications
