Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Senior BI Analyst who aligns business and IT teams to deliver strategic BI solutions that support organisational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the analysis and design of all digital transformation projects, becoming a proficient expert in both Finance and IT domains.
- Leverage technical expertise to assess clients’ current architecture and reporting systems and provide strategic guidance on their digital transformation initiatives.
- Define new application or process requirements if the current applications and processes do not support the client’s ultimate requirements.
- Collaborate with project management, development, and BI teams to ensure seamless implementation of high-quality solutions.
- Development of solutions that encompass the entire system.
- Leverage technical expertise to design and implement effective visualisations of financial and operational data, supporting strategic business objectives.
- Identify, understand and communicate complex issues concisely to both Accountants and Developers.
Requirements:
- Relevant BCom business and/or financial qualifications.
- Microsoft Certifications.
- 5-8 years’ experience working with financial systems and financial systems integrations.
- Data warehouse, Excel & PowerPivot expert.
- Knowledge of Advanced BI, AI, and the IoT with Microsoft and Azure Services.
- Excellent analytical, system design, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound knowledge of financial systems and financial system integrations.
- Translating and simplifying requirements.
- Pro-active in identifying potential problems and proposing solutions.
- Work with large sets of data.
