We are seeking a BI Developer with expertise in Microsoft Power BI to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions, reports, and dashboards. The role requires a skilled individual passionate about leveraging data to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI reports and interactive dashboards to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical BI solutions.
- Build data models and transform raw data into meaningful insights.
- Optimize and maintain existing Power BI reports and solutions for performance and scalability.
- Integrate data from various sources such as SQL databases, APIs, and flat files into Power BI.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality in all reporting solutions.
- Implement and enforce best practices for Power BI development, including security and version control.
- Provide training and support to business users to enable self-service BI capabilities.
Minium Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience as a BI Developer or related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI development, including DAX and Power Query.
- Strong experience with SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Expertise in data modelling, including star schema and snowflake designs.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and integration of data from diverse sources.
- Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards in BI solutions.
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, SSRS) is a plus.
