What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
In this role, you’ll lead the discovery of existing reports, ETL processes, and databases, particularly within the banking sector. You’ll evaluate data quality, ensure compliance requirements are met, and gain a thorough understanding of the data sources and the existing enterprise data warehouse (EDW). You’ll design DataMarts for reporting and map attributes between EDW and report attributes. Additionally, you’ll leverage your expertise in technologies such as DB2, Ab Initio, SQL, and Denodo to deliver impactful results. What you’ll need
To excel in this role, you’ll need at least 10 years of experience in data architecture or a related field. You should have advanced skills in data discovery, data quality evaluation, and attribute mapping. Expertise in data modelling and designing DataMarts is essential. Proficiency in DB2, Ab Initio, SQL, and Denodo is required, along with a strong understanding of enterprise data warehouses and ETL processes. A background in banking or similar sectors would be advantageous.
