Your responsibilities encompass the development and implementation of effective social media and web strategies. This includes crafting and sharing compelling content, optimizing company pages, moderating user-generated content, analysing social data, and collaborating with various departments to manage reputation and coordinate actions.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
In this role you are entrusted with monitoring, executing, filtering, and evaluating the social media and web presence of products, brands, corporations, or individuals. This involves creating and maintaining brand promotions, company information, and marketing campaigns across multiple social media networks.

Also includes identifying the most relevant social media metrics, utilizing tools to respond to questions and comments in accordance with company guidelines, and consistently producing new content. Their innovative approach involves pushing new ideas and formats, coupled with rigorous measurement of their performance.

Reports to the HEAD OF DESIGN. Coordination with other creative groups, such as marketing, public relations, and sales, is essential to drive lead generation campaigns leading to revenue. Staying abreast of new trends, company news, and industry developments is a key aspect of the role.
This dynamic position, in high demand, typically requires a bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, web design or a related field.
Daily tasks of a Web/Social Media designer includes:

  • Content Creation for Multiple Platforms:
    • Tailoring content for different platforms based on trends and competitor analysis (e.g., video, gif, infographic, blog).

  • Social Analytics Monitoring:
    • Assessing campaign effectiveness across channels to allocate resources efficiently.

  • Social Network Strategy Development:
    • Creating campaigns from scratch to promote sales or new products.

  • ROI Measurement:

Establishing measurable goals for campaigns and creating reports to track performance.

  • Web/SociaI Post Scheduling:
    • Utilizing optimal posting times for each platform and scheduling content in advance.

  • Curating Relevant Content:
    • Researching and sharing third-party content that aligns with audience interests.

  • Audience Engagement:
    • Responding to comments and addressing customer queries to enhance engagement.
