Our client, one of South Africa’s leading organizations, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior RPA Developer to join their team for an 11-month Hybrid contract. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions, driving operational efficiency and innovation. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document automation requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of RPA workflows to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing RPA solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation across various departments.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including workflows, technical specifications, and user manuals.
- Stay updated on the latest RPA technologies, trends, and best practices to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of automation innovation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an RPA Developer, with a proven track record of successful implementations.
- Experience in working in Banking or Financial Service industry is important.
- Deep expertise in RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, or VB.NET is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Familiarity with workflow design, process mapping, and optimization techniques.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases and API integrations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in the banking or financial services sector is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
