What You’ll Be Doing:
- Be the go-to expert for all things data – ingestion, integration, manipulation, monitoring, reporting, and management support.
- Architect data solutions in a cloud-based environment (Azure, baby!).
- Design and implement Power BI dashboards that make data storytelling a breeze.
- Create seamless data models (Star/Snowflake schema mastery required).
- Keep things agile with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
The Tech You Need to Own:
- BI & Data Viz: Power BI, Qlik Sense, Qlik View
- Database Mastery: Postgres, NoSQL, MySQL
- Scripting & Development: Visual .Net, Python
- DevOps & CI/CD: AZURE DevOps, GitHub
- Containerization Bonus: Kubernetes/Docker
- Integration & APIs: Middleware, Data Ingestion, API-oriented approach
- Software Development: Test-Driven Development, OOP, UML
What You Need to Qualify:
- NQF 7+ – BSc/BCom/BTech in IT, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ experience in IT/Manufacturing/Data Engineering.
