We are looking for an experienced Software Tester with a passion for finance to join our team. As a Software Tester, you’ll take responsibility for ensuring the quality and functionality of cutting-edge derivatives pricing systems through rigorous testing procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to identify defects and issues will be crucial in delivering reliable software and services to our users and clients.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and Implement Test Plans
- Design, Write, and Execute Test Cases
- Defect Identification and Reporting
- Risk-Based Testing
- Regression Testing
- Collaborate with Development Team and Product Manager
- Maintain Testing Documentation
- Performance and Load Testing: Test how a system performs under heavy loads and stress, to ensure it can handle peak times.
- Usability and Accessibility Testing
- Exposure to Automation Testing will be a bonus (not a must)
Your expertise:
- Strong intermediate – Senior (5+ years experience)
- Web and API Testing (Swagger and Postman).
- Proficiency in SQL and MS Excel.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Strong critical thinking skills – ability to analyse requirements, identify edge cases, and think from different perspectives.
- Experience in Capital Markets or other Financial Services will be extremely beneficial.
Qualifications:
- Matric
- Relevant IT/ Testing qualification
- ISTQB
