What you will be doing:
- Analyse financial information and trends to identify variances and make forecasts.
- Create and manage financial models to assist business planning and support decision-making.
- Develop financial reports and present them to management and stakeholders.
- Partner with business units to understand their financial needs and challenges.
- Advise and assist operational teams on financial matters.
- Find opportunities to reduce costs and increase revenue.
- Help to develop annual budgets and forecasts, then monitor performance and suggest corrective actions if needed.
- Support strategic initiatives by evaluating financial impact and finding and assessing potential investment opportunities.
- Assess and improve financial processes, including using technology and automation to optimize operations.
What our client is looking for:
- Relevant tertiary studies in Finance or Accounting would be beneficial, but not mandatory.
- 3+ years in analysis or business partnering.
- Experience in building and managing financial models is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong Excel skills and knowledge of appropriate analysis and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of data visualisation and reporting tools is advantageous.
