A dynamic global organization based in Midrand is looking to employ a Data Engineer with 3 – 5 years’ experience using various tools and methods to collect, analyze and present data
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- BSc Computer Science / B.tech in IT / Data scientist / Analytics (statistics)
- Valid Driver’s License and Own Vehicle
- 3 – 5 years’ experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- SQL & Power BI experience and knowledge (essential)
- Candidate must be Google Cloud certified
- Responsible for data ingestion, transformation, dashboard creation, and tactical delivery of insights, analytics, and support to various business functions
- Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI and other data reporting systems to provide actionable insights
- Utilize Power BI and other tools to visualize data and support business functions with meaningful analytic
- Proactively identify reporting needs and ensure the quality delivery of reports and dashboards
- Ensure data security and compliance within cloud environments
- Translate data into meaningful insights and communicate them effectively to stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational database management
- Proficiency in building and maintaining ETL pipelines
- Experience in querying, transforming, and managing large datasets in Big Query
