We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cisco Security Specialist to design, implement, and manage robust security solutions across our network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will leverage Cisco’s cutting-edge technologies to safeguard our organization against evolving cyber threats while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage security solutions using Cisco Firepower, Cisco Duo, Cisco Umbrella, Cisco ISE, and Cisco Web Security Appliances.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other network security appliances.
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Continuously monitor network traffic to identify unusual activity and potential threats.
- Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to streamline incident response processes.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Ensure security systems align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present detailed security reports to management and stakeholders.
- Provide training and support to staff on security best practices and the use of security tools.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or CISSP are highly desirable.
- Proven hands-on experience in managing Cisco security solutions, including Cisco Firepower Next, Generation Firewalls (NGFW), Cisco Duo for multi-factor authentication, Cisco Umbrella for cloud-delivered security, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco Web Security Appliances, Cisco Secure Client
- Strong understanding of network security principles, practices, and protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or CISSP are highly desirable.
