Network Engineer – Hardware and Storage
Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation
- Design and deploy network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
- Configure and manage network devices to ensure stable and secure connectivity.
- Hardware Management
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and peripherals.
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues promptly.
- Implement and manage storage solutions, including SAN and NAS systems.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor network security and implement measures to protect against threats.
- Manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security devices.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network and hardware issues.
- Assist in training staff on hardware and network usage.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, hardware setups, and storage systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in network engineering, hardware management, and storage solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar.
