About the Role
NetOps Africa is seeking a highly skilled Level 3 IT Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support to our clients. This role involves troubleshooting complex IT issues, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth operations of various systems. Candidates must be able to work independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level remote support for hardware, software, networking, and IT systems.
- Diagnose and resolve escalated technical issues, including Active Directory, Office 365, Windows Server, networking, and virtualization.
- Configure and maintain networking equipment, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud solutions.
- Manage IT documentation, ticketing, and escalation processes
- Assist with IT projects, including system migrations, upgrades, and deployments.
- Follow ITIL best practices and contribute to process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably at Level 2 or Level 3.
- Proficiency in Windows Server [Phone Number Removed];), Active Directory, networking , and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Experience troubleshooting VoIP and cloud-based telephony solutions is a plus.
- Strong documentation skills and ability to follow ITIL-based workflows.
- Certifications such as A+, Network+, CCNA, Azure Administrator, or ITIL Foundations are preferred.
