We are looking for a Technical Domain Specialist (D365) to join our financial services client based in Sandton for a 12-months contract role.

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Domain Specialist (D365) to join dynamic team. This role requires an expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) who will take ownership of multiple technology or domain assets, ensuring their continuous evolution and health. The ideal candidate will play a leadership role in the Center of Excellence (COE), drive best practices, optimize performance, and influence the strategic direction of D365 within the organization.
What you will be doing:

  • Actively own and be accountable for the overall evolution, performance, and governance of multiple technology or domain assets.
  • Influence and maintain the health and stability of the D365 environment, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Design, configure, and implement D365 solutions, including workflows and plug-in development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Lead and contribute to Centers of Excellence (COE), driving innovation, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation and system improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure system security, compliance, and integration with other business applications.
  • Provide technical mentorship and support to internal teams.

What we are looking for:

  • Completed BSc / IT degree or other related fields
  • 5+ years of experience working with C# and the .NET Framework, including web development using JavaScript and web services.
  • 2+ years developing solutions in Dynamics 365, including configuration, workflow, and plug-in development.
  • Experience designing, architecting, and building effective solutions based on industry best practices.
  • Strong expertise in full systems development life cycle for business application development projects.
  • Experience estimating application design and development work, as well as creating technical standards and documentation.
  • D365 certification is required.

Preferred experience with:

  • Power BI or SSRS, OData, and FetchXML.
  • Migrating data from legacy CRM implementations to Dynamics 365.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a self-motivated approach to researching alternative technologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for different audiences.
