Job Information
The company specializes in providing remote labor and customer service solutions for a wide range of industries, predominantly from Hospitality, but also covering Insurance, Health Care, Rapid Response, and everything in between. More recently they have moved into SaaS, developing an AI platform called “Skye”, that offers a wide variety of modules from assisting customers with Skye Virtual Agent, to Skye Ticketing, to assisting their own agents with Skye Companion, to name just a few of the modules. They are looking to hire a Senior Excel Reporting Analyst, to consolidate, validate, and refresh multi-source data from systems like Heroku and SharePoint to produce accurate daily, monthly, and ad hoc Excel reports. The role involves scrutinizing data integrity, troubleshooting discrepancies, and ensuring timely communication with multiple teams (e.g., Cres, Power BI, Billing, WFM) throughout the reporting cycle—from the 7th of the month until the period-end reporting. The ideal candidate works methodically under deadlines and proactively supports collaborations across departments.

The company is a fully remote company. They have people who work from home all around the world, however their company operates on American Eastern Time. Whoever applies for this role needs to be ok working typical business hours of 9am-5pm M-F EST and EDT.
Responsibilities and/or Accountabilities
Data Extraction & Preparation:
– Pull data from diverse sources:
– Insert and refresh raw data sheets ensuring all tables and formulas update correctly.
– Prepare and complete daily reports (e.g., Intown Daily Report for designated stakeholders).

Data Quality & Validation:
– Conduct daily checks:
o Compare call data per hotel against previous data.
o Identify and troubleshoot discrepancies or missing data.
o Rebuild reports with incomplete or missing information
– Verify that agent and booking data remains accurate using tools like the active_agents_v1 list and Power BI portals.

Reporting & Collaboration:
– Generate various ad hoc reports as requested by stakeholders via Clickup.
– Communicate updates and issues with teams
– On key dates:
o 7 Days Prior to Reporting: Ensure all monthly report formats (daily/monthly sheets, formulas, extended timelines) are correct.
o First Working Day of the Month: Coordinate with teams on data refreshes, re-run auto-reports, and capture/update screenshots or Skye report data.
o Submit all billing reports into Clickup by 13:00
o 5th of the Month: Confirm standard reports are updated and uploaded to clickup and complete any manually processed hotel bookings.

Supervise ongoing updates:
– Maintain a master sheet with new CRES hotels.
– Monitor live hotel updates and communicate changes (manual accounting, SOP-linked adjustments, etc.).

Ongoing Monitoring & Support:
– Keep an eye on communication channels (Power BI, Billing, WFM chats) and assist or get pinged on any related issues.
– Support the Reports Manager with any emerging issues, ensuring data consistency across all review platforms.
– Perform in-depth checks on both call and booking data to safeguard monthly reporting integrity.

Qualifications and Qualities:
Technical Skills:
– Advanced Excel Proficiency: Expertise in formulas, pivot tables, range referencing, and dynamic tables.
– Data Integration: Experience in importing data from external sources such as Heroku APIs and SharePoint.
– Power BI Familiarity: Ability to verify and compare data in Power BI dashboards, even if manual interventions are occasionally required.
– Automation & Troubleshooting: Skills in identifying discrepancies, refreshing data sources, and ensuring automated processes run as expected.

Collaboration and Communication:
– Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams (e.g., Cres, Reports Manager, and other internal stakeholders).
– Ability to communicate technical details of data discrepancies and reporting workflow clearly.

Attention to Detail & Analytical Thinking:
– Keen focus on data accuracy and structured formatting.
– Adept at tracking and documenting steps to resolve data quality issues, ensuring no misaligned numbers or omitted reports.

Project & Time Management:
– Capacity to prioritize tasks (from daily monitoring, ad hoc requests to final reporting checks) and work systematically under tight deadlines.
– Experience using task management platforms like Clickup to track progress and communicate updates.
