Role purpose:
Oracle Exadata and Oracle GoldenGate (OGG) DBA
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
Oracle Database administration
- Perform database backups and recovery procedures.
- Manage database users, roles, and permissions.
- Optimize database performance through tuning and indexing.
- Monitor database health and performance using monitoring tools.
- Participate in database upgrades and migrations.
Exadata Management
- Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Exadata systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Exadata infrastructure and database performance.
- Perform capacity planning and resource allocation for Exadata environments.
- Manage Exadata storage and network components.
- Ensure the availability and performance of Oracle databases running on Exadata.
Oracle GoldenGate (OGG) Management
- Design, implement, and manage Oracle GoldenGate replication environments.
- Configure and optimize OGG capture and apply processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OGG replication.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across replicated databases.
- Manage OGG security and access controls.
Key performance indicators :
- Technical excellence, Able to implement a solution end-to-end from a provided network design.

- Communication. Able to express themselves in a multinational environment, with effective communication skills (technical and non-technical)

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- 5 or more years of Technical experience across Oracle technologies in terms of architecture, design , implementation, and support.
- Relevant Oracle DBA qualifications / certifications.
- Experience working with Oracle Exadata and OGG.
