Job Title: CCIE-Level Network Engineer

Location: Johannesburg (Hybrid: 3 days in-office Tuesday–Thursday, 2 days remote Monday & Friday) Contract Duration: Until 31 March 2026 (with potential extension)
Role Overview:
We are urgently looking for an experienced CCIE-level Network Engineer to architect, deploy, and support our complex and mission-critical network infrastructure. You will lead network design and automation efforts, cloud integration, and advanced troubleshooting across hybrid and on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage complex network environments using routing and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Lead Software-Defined Networking (SDN) design and deployment initiatives
- Automate network configurations and operations through scripting
- Implement and manage Quality of Service (QoS) policies
- Configure and support multicast routing (PIM, IGMP) and VPN solutions (IPsec, SSL, MPLS)
- Integrate and manage hybrid cloud networking solutions
- Develop scalable network infrastructure designs
- Resolve advanced networking issues across data centers and enterprise environments
- Support VLAN, VxLAN, and fabric extender technologies in data centers
Minimum Requirements:
- Deep technical experience in enterprise networking
- Expertise across all areas listed above
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems
- Ability to design for scalability, availability, and performance
- Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):
