Responsible for the experience design of innovative and impactful digital products and services across all digital channels

Responsibilities

  • Conduct heuristic assessments of existing digital products to identify areas for user experience improvement

  • Define design principles and contribute to the development of a digital style guide
  • Design wireframes and user flows for multiple MVPs, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly experiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet business and technical requirements
  • Support usability testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions
  • Enable and coach teams on the practice of user experience design
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of brand, products, and services to ensure design consistency and coherence

  • Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and design thinking
  • Excellent design skills, with a focus on experience design
  • Strong track-record in user experience design of consumer facing digital products
  • Experience with user research methods and analysis

  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and critically

Experience level:

Band 8 (9-12 years experience in the role of UX Designer)

  1. Where is the work location -South Africa with occasional travel local and international.
  2. Will there be travel ? – Yes, occasional travel for key events like a workshop
  3. Is it onsite / offshore / hybrid delivery ? Hybrid
