About the Role:
As our Business Analyst, you’ll act as the critical link between business objectives and technology solutions. You’ll deliver insights that drive smarter decisions, optimize performance, and ultimately, boost profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business processes, systems, and data to identify improvements across retail and financial operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and refine business requirements.
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and performance dashboards.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic initiatives.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for development and IT teams.
- Support system implementations, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.
- Monitor KPIs and deliver actionable insights to improve sales, margins, and customer experiences.
- Partner with finance teams on budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting.
- Build and manage dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in retail and/or financial services.
- Proficient in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience working with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce.
- Solid understanding of retail metrics (e.g., sales per sq ft, inventory turnover) and financial principles (e.g., P&L, ROI).
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
