In the first major industry awards event of 2025, CCI scooped the award for Best Contact Centre at the CCMG National Contact Centre Awards, held recently in Johannesburg. CCMG, the Contact Centre Management Group, is the professional body in the contact centre industry in South Africa.
CCI South Africa CEO Peter Andrew accepted the award on behalf of the CCI team. “It’s a great honour for CCI to be recognised in the CCMG Awards. I am thrilled to see our dedicated team receive recognition for their tireless efforts and passionate pursuit of operational excellence for all our clients and customers.”
CCI South Africa also secured three major awards during the event, with Wade Morar recognised for Best BPO Partnership, Hemant Nandrajog receiving the award for Most Effective Learning and Development Individual/Programme and Tevashen Reddy recognised for Best Support Services (WFP, Data and MIS).
CCI employees were selected as finalists in multiple categories, including Shabnum Naidu for Best BPO Partnership, Noleen Subramoney for Best Operations Manager, Junaid Mahomed for Best Support Services (WFP, Data and MIS), and Doné Phillips for Most Effective Learning and Development Individual/Programme.
CareerBox Africa trainer Rebekah Harrisanker was nominated as a finalist in the category for Best Trainer/Coach, a testament to the outstanding work happening in work readiness training at CareerBox Africa. Impact sourcing specialist CareerBox Africa’s two-week Work Readiness Training programme is seen as integral to the success rate of the people placed into roles within the BPO industry, with 80% of CareerBox placements promoted within the BPO industry.
“As a people-centred business, it’s wonderful to see the company, and particularly, our high-achieving employees, receive recognition for their incredible impact on the success of our customers’ businesses. We believe that South Africa’s people are uniquely equipped to deliver business results through their inherent capacity for empathy and creating human connection, a concept which we at CCI have termed ‘Humanitude’,” says Andrew.
