What you will be doing:
- Actively participate in Leadership meetings, contributing insights and expertise.
- Drive team stability and efficiency during critical phases like sprints, hotfixes, and deployments.
- Collaborate with Business Quality Assurance (QA) to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
- Lead, mentor, and provide comprehensive support to other Test Analysts.
- Apply specialized knowledge during Product Backlog Refinement (PBR) and Sprint Planning sessions.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression scripts to ensure thorough system coverage and quality.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) handovers to business stakeholders, working closely with Business Analysts.
- Conduct and participate in walkthrough and demo sessions to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
- Partner with Development and Business QA teams to ensure seamless development and deployment processes.
- Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, Product Backlog Refinement, Sprints, etc.)
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial, but not essential.
- An ISTQB Certification (Foundation level)
- 5+ years of software testing experience.
- Capable of performing performance and security testing, with proficiency in tools such as Postman (including authentication), Pilotfish, and Hyphen.
- Proficient in Postman for API testing and JIRA for comprehensive bug and project tracking.
- Proficient in performing regression testing, and familiar with Scribe for documentation/test management and Gherkin for behavior-driven development (BDD) test specification.
- Experience with test management tools, proficiency in SQL queries, and an understanding of code-based testing. A proactive approach to learning and adopting the latest testing tools is essential.
