Our client is an innovative technology company focused on transforming how small and mid-sized businesses manage their finances and operations. They design intelligent, automated systems that streamline accounting, payroll, compliance, and payment workflows — all supported by a powerful backend infrastructure and real-time data integration.
They are looking for a Web Developer (Frontend Focused) to build modern, intuitive web applications that integrate seamlessly with live data. This role bridges UI design and backend development — ensuring that the front-end is functional, data-driven, and scalable.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric (Grade 12) required.
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Software Development, or related field advantageous.
- 3–5 years’ experience in web development with a frontend focus and live data integration.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Required:
- Proven experience in Classic ASP and .NET technologies (C#.NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET).
- Ability to implement and consume web services (WS) and stored procedures (SPs) for live data integration.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, with the ability to adapt or update stored procedures when required.
- Experience with API integration using ASP.NET.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on usability and performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI enhancements.
- Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
- Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.
Working Conditions
- Primarily remote role, with the option to work from a shared office if preferred.
