Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & Innovate: Create statistical models and algorithms using various libraries and abstractions.
  • Analyze & Discover: Conduct exploratory data analysis, wrangle data, and discover new insights from diverse datasets.
  • Collaborate & Support: Work with senior data scientists and engineers to implement and deploy solutions. You’ll provide insights to our BI and BA teams and help monitor and maintain models in production.
  • Learn & Grow: Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques, conduct self-development, and research best practices in the field.

Experience and Qualification

  • Education: A Master’s or PhD in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematical Statistics, or Actuarial Science is preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a statistical and/or data science role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in a programming toolset, particularly Python or R. Experience with C, C++, or Java is a plus.
  • Experience with large datasets and distributed computing tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Foundational knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with data mining, data structures, and various machine learning techniques like Supervised and Unsupervised Learning.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong desire to work in cross-functional teams, and an agile mindset.

  • Certifications in Cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
