My client based in Cape Town is currently looking for a QA Test Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Commerce, or Computer Science
- 10+ years’ experience in test analysis within software development or IT environments
- ISTQB Certification in Test Analysis (advantageous)
Responsibilities
- Evaluate requirements, designs, and code to prevent defects.
- Verify whether all specified requirements have been fulfilled.
- Validate that the test object works as expected for users and stakeholders.
- Build confidence in the overall quality of the test object.
- Identify defects and failures to reduce risks of inadequate software quality.
- Provide stakeholders with sufficient information to make informed decisions.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Use relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
