Data Scientist:
This is a hands-on contract role where you’ll be designing and deploying machine learning models that help us better understand customer behaviour, improve marketing performance, and drive smarter decision making.
Key Performance Indicators
- Designing and developing machine learning models for customer analytics (segmentation, propensity modelling, lifetime value, etc.)
- Exploring generative AI techniques where relevant
- Building end-to-end ML pipelines using MLOps frameworks
- Embedding model outputs into business tools like Power BI or internal apps
- Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business needs into data science solutions
- Communicating insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Supporting the growth of the data science function and demonstrating its value across the business
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years and above data scientist experience
- Data science/ analytics qualification
- You’ve got 3+ years of experience in data science or Machine Learning engineering
- You’re confident with Python, SQL, and common data science libraries
- You understand MLOps practices and have experience with CI/CD and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- You’ve got strong modelling skills across classification, regression, clustering, and forecasting
- You’re a clear communicator who can explain complex ideas simply
