The Centennial Schools eSports team excelled at this year’s inaugural World Student Championships in Malta, held from 8–11 October.
Competing against 72 schools from across the globe, Centennial Schools was the only South African school to participate in this prestigious international event.

The Centennial Schools Minecraft team showcased exceptional skill and dedication, ultimately walking away as the winners of the Daigon School eSports Minecraft World Championships.
“When we built our eSports Centre and introduced eSports at Centennial Schools, our aim was to equip students with the skills and knowledge to compete in lucrative professional leagues,” says Shaun Fuchs, founder of Centennial Schools. “We wanted to create opportunities for our students to develop essential skills, build global connections, and, if they choose to pursue this path beyond high school, be fully prepared to do so.
“Seeing this dream come to life for both our school and our students makes us incredibly proud.”
