We are seeking a highly skilled EMS Application Engineer to administer, optimize, and enhance our Energy Management System (EMS) environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21) and/or AEMS Platform Software, along with a deep understanding of power system applications and Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) environments.

Key Responsibilities
· Administer, configure, and optimize the EMS environment including tuning, security patching, and system updates.
· Perform model validation and defect fixing for the Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) system.
· Conduct code reviews, manage deployments, and monitor break/fix patches and modifications.
· Execute corrective actions to restore and maintain technical services on the EMS platform.
· Manage system integration, configuration, and enhancements across various power system applications.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams for testing, troubleshooting, and technical validation.
· Work with live customer systems to install patches, updates, and technical fixes with precision and reliability.
RequirementsTechnical & Functional Skills (Must Have)
· Strong hands-on experience administering and optimizing Energy Management Systems (EMS), preferably GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21) or AEMS; experience with Siemens, OSI, ABB, or Schneider EMS platforms is also valuable.
· Practical knowledge of Simulated RTU, Simulated IED, and Console configurations.
· Familiar with ICCP, IEC, DNP3, Modbus, Data Modeling, XML/JSON protocols and standards.
· Proficient in Linux and Windows operating environments.
· Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
· Over 5 years’ experience in Power System Applications, including:
o Power Flow
o State Estimator
o Contingency Analysis
o Load Frequency Control (AGC)
o Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS)
· Expertise in model validation and event creation within power simulation systems.
· Strong programming/scripting background in C, C++, PERL, SQL, Shell scripting or similar languages.
· Skilled in log interpretation, debugging, and system troubleshooting.
· Experience installing fixes or patches on live customer systems.
