Psybergate is an IT company that builds bespoke software solutions and provides highly skilled resources to its clients.
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our financial services client based in Sandton for a 12-months contract role.
What you will be doing:

  • Plan, direct, and oversee all phases of complex projects or programmes across the enterprise.
  • Align project execution with business strategy through effective planning, organizing, staffing, negotiating, and controlling of project activities.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation including objectives, timelines, risks, and contingency plans.
  • Escalate impediments, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of project value.
  • Foster continuous improvement within teams and support Agile practices across software development projects.
  • Lead hybrid Agile/Waterfall initiatives with a strong focus on scaled Lean-Agile principles.
  • Ensure alignment of program goals with stakeholder expectations and business outcomes.

What we are looking for:

  • Completed IT / BSc degree or other related fields
  • 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager
  • Strong decision-making and financial management skills.
  • Proficient in project management principles and methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies; Scrum Master certification is advantageous.
  • Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Project (MSP).
  • Excellent facilitation, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with governance, risk, and control frameworks.
