What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
You’ll support a range of internal technology projects across a hedge fund platform, developing and maintaining Python and R scripts that automate workflows and streamline operations. You’ll help transition manual processes to app-based tools, interface with APIs and databases, and support data engineering pipelines. You’ll also create internal utilities, dashboards, and automated reporting tools that improve decision-making and operational efficiency for teams across the business. It’s a hands-on role that offers constant learning and real impact.

You’ll be joining a high-performing team within a leading alternative investment firm. You’ll work closely with operations, compliance, and investment teams-gaining exposure to financial systems and the inner workings of asset management, all while being supported to grow into broader engineering or analytics roles.
What you’ll need
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 1-3 years’ experience using Python and/or R. You should be comfortable with structured data, APIs, databases, Git, and have basic SQL knowledge. Familiarity with data-centric tools like pandas or NumPy is a plus, as is exposure to LLMs for development productivity. Above all, you bring initiative, attention to detail, and a hunger to learn.
