- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, deploying and maintaining SharePoint solutions, as well as providing ongoing support to end-users.
- Must have proficient experience with web development & front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, UI/UX.
- You will work closely with our IT and business teams to design, implement, and support SharePoint based applications that meet the needs of the organization.
- Develop, configure, and maintain custom SharePoint sites, workflows, web parts, and applications.
- Design and implement SharePoint-based solutions, including document management, intranet portals, and collaboration tools.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SharePoint applications and solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint performance, functionality, and integration.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Customize and enhance existing SharePoint solutions to improve user experience and meet business needs.
- Integrate SharePoint with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications and experience required:
- Matric plus an IT Degree or 3 year National IT Diploma.
- SharePoint certification advantage.
- Must have 5 years’ minimum work experience as a SharePoint Developer.
Technical skills required (minimum of 5 year’s work experience required):
- SQL Server, .NET, C#
- SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019, and earlier versions.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and capabilities
- SharePoint Designer
- InfoPath
- Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- UI/UX
- SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Client-side object model (CSOM)
- REST API
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Advantageous:
- Experience with Azure and Office 365 integration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
