Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Desktop Engineer with strong networking expertise to join a high-performing technical team. This role requires an experienced professional who can manage complex desktop environments while supporting and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 and 3 desktop and infrastructure support
- Handle complex escalations from L1 & L2 teams
- Advanced troubleshooting of:
- Windows OS
- Hardware & applications
- Administer:
- Active Directory
- Group Policies
- Microsoft 365
- Network support:
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- VLANs, routing & switching
- VPN configuration & troubleshooting
- Manage endpoint environments:
- SCCM / Intune
- Desktop imaging & deployments
- Perform root cause analysis
- Maintain technical documentation
- Work closely with security and infrastructure teams
Technical Skills Required
- Windows 10 / 11
- Active Directory & GPO
- SCCM / Intune / MDT
- VPN technologies
- LAN/WAN troubleshooting
- PowerShell (advantageous)
- Azure / Hybrid environments
Certifications (Advantageous)
- Microsoft Certified
- CCNA / CCNP
- ITIL
Experience
- 6+ years desktop / infrastructure support
- Strong Level 3 exposure
- Enterprise or MSP environment experience
