Role Summary
The incumbent will support the development and execution of the Transformation Fund’s strategic objectives, comply with governance, PFMA, and audit frameworks and the delivery of measurable outcomes on economic impact, enterprise support, and transformation metrics.

Programme Governance & Delivery

  • Establish and manage the overall programme plan, integrating all project schedules and milestones.
  • Chair weekly project governance meetings and report progress to the Transformation Fund PMO.
  • Coordinate specification and procurement of required solutions.
  • Coordinate with THE COMPANY IST, dtic, and external implementation partners to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor project interdependencies, risks, and resource allocation.

Strategic Alignment

  • Ensure systems directly enable the three pillars: – Access to Funding – Access to Markets – Access to Capability (Accounting and ERP) for investees – Telemetry of ESD in South Africa, the fund and supported investees.
  • Develop performance dashboards (Balanced Scorecard, KPIs) tracking impact and adoption.

Financial & Vendor Oversight

  • Manage project budgets, vendor contracts, and resource utilisation.
  • Approve scope changes and ensure value-for-money compliance.

Process & Change Management

  • Ensure that the Process Engineer standardises workflows across systems.
  • Facilitate user adoption, training, and change readiness for all stakeholders.

Reporting & Impact Measurement

  • Provide consolidated reports on:
  • Project progress and risk
  • ESD and enterprise impact via the Telemetry platform
  • Overall programme KPIs (e.g., entities supported, jobs sustained, funding leveraged)

Experience / Skills Required

  • 10+ years in project or programme delivery; 5+ in multi-stream digital projects; financial development experience advantageous

Qualification Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Business; MBA or Honours preferred
  • PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner; AgilePM or PMI-ACP; ITIL 4; Lean Six Sigma; COBIT or King IV governance awareness
