Position Summary
The Senior Data Architect role for the PPB Data Architecture team. This role is critical to maintaining momentum across AWS migration, Lakehouse build, and the rewards re-platform program, while also chairing the Data Design Forum.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Leadership
- Lead AWS-native architecture design and implementation.
- Drive Lakehouse architecture and integration planning.
- Oversee technical enablement for PPB Data Platform MVP delivery.
Governance & Collaboration
- Chair the Data Design Forum to ensure architectural alignment, data quality, and solution integrity.
- Resolve design conflicts and facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering and architecture teams.
Strategic Program Support
- Provide architectural oversight for the rewards re-platform initiative, including data sourcing and integration.
- Support modernization efforts across PPB platforms and ensure alignment with business outcomes.
Documentation & Process
- Maintain high-level process flows and technical documentation for tiering, accruals, and data processing.
- Contribute to job design and evaluation processes in line with the Job
Evaluation Policy.
Required Skills & Experience - AWS Solution Architecture certification and hands-on experience.
- Proven expertise in Lakehouse architecture and data platform modernization.
- Experience in loyalty platform design and integration (e.g., U-Count).
- Strong leadership in governance forums and cross-functional alignment.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
