ENVIRONMENT:

SERVE as the hands-on expert bridging technology with clients’ businesses as the next Integration Business Analyst sought by a dynamic Logistics company in Joburg. You will work directly with clients to configure plugins, conduct training, and ensure their e-commerce storefronts are seamlessly connected to in-house systems. You will also write customer integration specification that contains field mapping and custom features. The ideal candidate will need a Degree/Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Information Technology, Software Development, Information Systems, or a related field with demonstrable technical training or certifications in API integrations and major eCommerce platforms & at least 8 years’ experience in a similar role. You will also need proven success in product delivery and e-commerce integrations and deep functional knowledge of web technologies (REST APIs, JSON, XML).

DUTIES:

Execute Client Integrations –

  • Provide hands-on configuration of existing plugins and integrations tailored directly to the client’s requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical configuration issues rapidly to accelerate the client’s time-to-value.

Empower Clients through Knowledge –

  • Conduct hands-on client training sessions to ensure merchants are confident and capable of using our platforms.
  • Act as the technical face of the company during the onboarding phase, building trust and ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Translate requirements and issues between customer and developers.

Translate Needs into Technical Requirements –

  • Work directly with clients to drive requirements gathering for new integrations.
  • Assist in writing clear technical specs for new requirements to be shared with the Dev Team.
  • Actively monitor and test existing integrations to ensure they are up to date and ready for Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento changes.

Champion Quality Assurance and Best Practices –

  • Maintain meticulous documentation of all client configurations to ensure a seamless handover to Support and Maintenance teams.
  • Actively contribute to a centralised knowledge base of common integration hurdles and solutions to speed up future onboarding.

Ensure Integration Security & Governance –

  • Ensure client configurations adhere to internal security and data privacy standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications –

  • Degree, Diploma, or relevant technical qualification in Information Technology, Software Development, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable technical training or certifications in API integrations and major eCommerce platforms.

Experience/Skills –

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Proven success in product delivery and e-commerce integrations. Deep functional knowledge of web technologies (REST APIs, JSON, XML).
  • Commercially minded, connects tech to bottom-line impact.
  • Strong functional skills – builds trust, trains effectively, and operates with high attention to detail.
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
