ENVIRONMENT:
A specialist medical technology company with its own on-prem infrastructure is seeking a Senior JavaScript Developer to join their environment. This role requires a strong technical foundation, coupled with a collaborative and personable approach. DUTIES:
- Develop and maintain high-quality JavaScript applications
- Work with PostgreSQL databases for data management and optimisation
- Contribute to backend or scripting tasks using Python where required
- Build, deploy, and manage applications using Docker
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong JavaScript experience at a senior level
- Solid experience working with PostgreSQL
- Exposure to Python
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Fluent Afrikaans speaker, this is a non-negotiable requirement
- Based in or willing to commute to Pretoria East
- A relevant degree is advantageous but not essential
