SoftwareOne has announced a strengthened leadership team for South Africa and the broader African region as the company integrates Crayon into the global SoftwareOne brand.
The Crayon acquisition took place in July 2025, with the unified SoftwareOne brand announced in 2026.
Leading the regional growth strategy is Werner Wilders, overseeing SoftwareOne’s Africa business as GM for Africa (MEA).
Lindie Clarke has been appointed as licensing sales lead for Africa, while Nireshini Naidoo continues as Africa financial manager and Makhosini Dlamini leads the pre-sales function.
According to Wilders, the new leadership structure reflects SoftwareOne’s commitment to investing in African expertise while leveraging the scale and capabilities of a unified global business.
“The transition to SoftwareOne marks an exciting new chapter for our business in South Africa and across Africa. By bringing together the strengths of both SoftwareOne and Crayon, we are creating a stronger organisation with the expertise, scale and local understanding needed to help customers navigate increasingly complex technology environments,” says Wilders.
“Our leadership team combines deep market knowledge with global capability, enabling us to support organisations as they modernise, optimise costs, embrace AI and unlock greater value from their technology investments.”
