Senior Business Analyst

My client based in Cape Town is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst (WMS) to join their team on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

Develop and define the Business Analysis approach and strategy for project delivery.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather business requirements.
Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business requirements.
Produce high-quality business analysis documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
Analyse and document current (“As-Is”) and future (“To-Be”) business processes.
Identify process improvement opportunities and conduct gap analyses.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
Manage and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution, defect management, and sign-off processes.
Provide ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle to ensure business needs are met.

Qualifications & Experience

Certified Business Analyst qualification.
Minimum of 8 years’ Business Analysis experience.
Proven experience within the Retail industry.
Strong experience working within Supply Chain and Distribution Centre (DC) environments.
Experience working on Warehouse Management System (WMS) projects.
Solid understanding and practical experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Demonstrated experience managing complex business and system requirements.
