Project:
- Supply, delivery, installation, maintenance and management of the data centre environment on as and when required basis.
Main job functions:
- Responsible for designing and governing the end-to-end technology architecture for data centre projects, ensuring the successful planning, supply, implementation, integration, maintenance, and ongoing management of the data centre environment.
- Provides technical leadership to ensure infrastructure solutions—including compute, storage, networking, virtualisation, backup, security, and disaster recovery—align with business requirements, industry best practices, and enterprise architecture standards while delivering high availability, scalability, performance, and operational resilience.
Minimum Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and experience required:
- The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture (SABSA) Certification.
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Information Technology.
- 5 years minimum work experience in a similar Architect role focused on designing and governing the end-to-end technology architecture for data centre projects.
