Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Bryanston – JHB, Gauteng.
Duties and Responsibilities
- 7+ years of progressive experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security.
- Hands-on technical experience in security operations, incident response, and threat detection.
- Experience with operating or overseeing SOC and SIEM capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise EDR/XDR platforms.
- Experience in identity and access management, privileged access controls, and access governance.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview, DLP, and information protection.
- Knowledge of security awareness platforms and phishing simulation programs.
- Experience with Web Application Firewall technologies.
- Supporting vulnerability management, penetration testing, and incident investigations.
- Engage technical teams, senior stakeholders, and external cybersecurity service providers.
Qualifications
Degree: Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science in Cybersecurity, or a relevant field.
