Accounting and related business software solutions provider Lorge has supplied and implemented a Sage 300 ERP (formerly Accpac) premium edition software solution for Vantage Goldfields at its office in Nelspruit.
Vantage Goldfields, an Australian-owned company headquartered in Sydney, conducts gold mining and exploration in the Barberton greenstone belt of Mpumalanga, an area that has been mined for more than 100 years and is second only to the Witwatersrand in volume of gold extraction.
Lorge sales administrator Shelley Gittleson says the Sage 300 ERP solution includes: general ledger; general ledger consolidation; inter-company transactions; cashbook; EFT; RecXpress for the reconciliation of all banking; inventory control and purchases; Pacific purchasing workflow with workflow documents; internal issues and Audit Logger (which tracks changes to bank details and other business audit information as a “safety net”); and Sage business intelligence.
The Sage 300 ERP software system has gone live following installation and implementation by Lorge and caters for 15 users.
“Sage 300 ERP software supports all of the business, financial planning, scheduling, production, control and sales activities for companies and offers considerable flexibility,” says Keith Fenner, senior VP, Sales, for Sage ERP Africa. He adds that the software adapts easily to variances and provides company management with the information they need to maintain efficient and successful operations.
