Epson’s new “low-cost, high-quality” ink tank system strategy means that South Africans are now able to benefit from reliable, affordable printing at home or at the office, with Epson’s new range of printers that include a high volume integrated ink tank system.
The new printer range allows users to print thousands of high quality documents at an ultra-low cost per page.
Five models have been launched as part of the L-Series range aimed at small and medium sized businesses as well as the home user.
The Epson L550, L355 and L300 printers allow small offices to print numerous high quality documents at an ultra-low cost per page. The L550 is a multi-function four-in-one, with print, scan, copy and fax capabilities, while the L355 is an all-in-one printer, scanner and copier. The L300 is a single-function printer.
The L550 and L355 both feature Epson iPrint, which allows users to print wirelessly from smartphones and tablet PCs within the office; perfect for last-minute reports or if users don’t have access to a computer.
All three printers offer affordable, low-cost printing and come with four 70ml individual ink bottles: cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Each set of high-volume ink bottles can print up to 4 000 pages in black and 6 500 pages in colour, and offers an exceptionally low running cost per page. In addition, two extra black ink bottles included in the box increase the combined print output to 12 000 pages.
The Epson L210 and L110 offer students and home office users reliable high quality, low cost printing. The L210 is an all-in-one printer, scanner and copier, while the L110 is a single-function printer.
Both the L210 and L110 come with four 70ml individual ink bottles – cyan, magenta, yellow and black. Each set of high-volume ink bottles can print up to 4 000 pages in black and 6 500 pages in colour, and also offer an extremely  low running cost.
All the printers in this range feature Epson’s Micro Piezo technology and offer unrivalled durability, quality and reliability when compared to other non-generic refill systems on the market. In addition, a 12 month (or 15 000 page) warranty, with full customer service support, provides peace of mind to users and help if they need it.
The printers are set up in three simple steps: fill the ink tanks; turn the printer on; and prime the ink system. Drip-free bottle spouts ensure that refilling the ink tanks is clean and hassle-free.
“With our new integrated ink tank systems, we’re offering users ultra-low cost-per-page printing, as well as the benefits and quality delivered as a result of our expertise in inkjet technology. We believe this gives users the best of both worlds,” says Kelvin Reynolds, GM for Epson South Africa.
The Epson L-series printer range and inks are available from April 2013.
