Xerox has been named a leader in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Managed Print and Document Services (MPDS) 2013 Hardcopy Vendor Analysis for the fourth consecutive year.
Xerox is distributed in sub-Saharan Africa by Bytes Document Solutions, Africa’s leading document management technology and services company, and the largest Xerox distributor in the world.
According to the report, which analyzes MPDS vendors and delivers an overview of competitive fitness, Xerox’s offering was among the most comprehensive of all nine vendors evaluated. The company was noted not only for its breadth of services, but also for its ability to engineer innovative solutions and to drive savings across large enterprises and small- and medium-sized businesses.
“Companies are now looking for ways to integrate print and document workflows into the rest of their IT infrastructure and help clients not only print for less, but print less,” says Mike Feldman, senior VP, Xerox Global Document Outsourcing and Managed Print Services.
“Our print environment experience allows us to build content management and business process automation strategies that simplify how work gets done.”
Xerox’s investments in software and solutions include tools that provide predictive analytics and data to simplify print environments and deliver further cost savings. In addition, Xerox Connectkey lets workers scan and upload documents to cloud repositories, send business-critical documents directly into workflow processes and print securely and easily from any mobile device.
As a worldwide market leader in managed print, Xerox works with businesses of all sizes so employees can spend more time focused on their core business.
