South African consumers are now able to combine fixed-line ADSL connectivity from Telkom with one of four top-range Samsung Smart TV sets that provides access to a world of entertainment in one bill.
“This partnership between Samsung and Telkom (effective Friday 20 September) combines Telkom landline rental, free landline and ADSL installation for new customers, and a WiFi modem, as well as delivery and installation of the Samsung Smart TV,” says Lance Berger, head of product marketing: TV/AV at Samsung Electronics South Africa.
Berger notes that consumers who sign up to the bundle will also receive vouchers entitling them to three movie rentals from the recently launched Samsung Video Hub, which enables users to stream content direct from the Internet using their Samsung Smart TVs.
Customers can select a 32-inch or 40-inch Samsung Smart LED TV that supports full high definition viewing, or a 46-inch or 55-inch LED model that offers 3D in either a Telkom Simple or Do ADSL package. Internet access speeds start at 1024kbps and increase to 4069kbps, with a variety of data options available.
Bundle pricing starts from R661.00 per month.
