Ahead of the first Wits Fak’ugesi Digital Arts Festival, the Jo’burg Centre for Software Engineering (JCSE) at Wits University has launched the new Web site and logo for its much-anticipated Agile Africa Conference.Professor Barry Dwolatzky, director of the JCSE and co-founder of the Fak’ugesi Digital Arts Festival, says the 2014 Agile Africa Conference is going to be a significant milestone for all those interested in agile software development methodologies and the new Web site will assist in clearly communicating information about this year’s impressive conference line-up.
Dwolatzky says that not only do they have US-based Daniel Vacanti, the co-founder of Kanban for Software Development, and Bennet Vallett, Kanban user and agile software expert to present a keynote, but also renowned agile trainer and coach, David Hussman.
“This is a first for South Africa and Agile Africa. David will discuss ‘Lessons in Gravity: Helping Good Ideas Reach Escape Velocity’ and is also available afterwards for additional workshops.
