MTN has launched MTN Pulse, a prepaid price plan aimed at the youth market, that enables customers who are subscribed on the plan to call each other at 29 cents a minute.
The first 60 seconds of the day first call on the day is charged at 79c per minute, thereafter a 29c per minute rate applies for the rest of the day for all MTN Pulse to MTN Pulse calls.
Larry Annetts, chief marketing officer at MTN South Africa, says MTN Pulse is tailored for the customer looking for value.
“MTN Pulse is a culmination of insight gathering we had undertaken into our youth market, we know they demand customised products and solutions that they can identify with,” says Annetts.
Non MTN Pulse local calls on-net (MTN) will be charged at 79c per minute. Off-net calls are charged at R1.20.
