Kyocera Document Solutions is delighted to announce that the European Buyer’s Laboratory (BLI) Summer 2014 Pick of the Year award’has been given to the ECOSYS M6026cidn / M6526cidn 26ppm A4 colour MFPs for the third time in this segment, alongside the Highly Recommended Award for the ECOSYS M6026cidn / M6526cidn, and the A4 Monochrome MFP models M2535dn / M2035dn / M2530dn / M2030dn.

The criteria for the awards is extensive and Kyocera’s devices outperformed the rest when it came to reliability, image quality and environmental features.

Kyocera’s ECOSYS M6026cidn/M6526cidn earned the BLI’s Summer 2014 Pick of the Year for Outstanding Solutions-Enabled A4 Colour MFP for Small Workgroups. These models offer seamless integration, which is typically only available for much larger A3 devices, due to HyPAS embedded platform. HyPAS software is developed by Kyocera for third parties; even the smallest workgroup workflows can benefit from individual applications which can be controlled from the intuitive control panel on the device, providing the true Kyocera differentiation.

“To be awarded the BLI Summer Pick award for the third time for our A4 colour MFPs recognises that our continuous development in this segment is working and we continue to improve our leadership position in A4 colour MFPs (26ppm to 30ppm). The combination of hardware reliability, the unique HyPAS platform, that offers an extremely powerful tool that integrates with any network environment, applications such as MyQ, that controls and secures document workflow, and PinPointScan, that simplifies scan workflows, makes the ECOSYS M6526cidn the only plausible solution for small workgroups who need an all-around device,” outlined Wayne Holborn, Managing Director of Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa.

The highly recommended awards were given to the ECOSYS M6526cidn/M6026cidn, M2535dn/M2035dn and M2530dn/M2030dn because they stood out in key performance areas, receiving top marks in standard and maximum memory capacities and showing exceptional speeds for time to first page from energy save mode.

In addition, all products received the Certificate of Reliability. Martin Soane, BLI’s European Lab Manager commented, “Reliability is one of the most important criteria for most buyers and Kyocera continues to excel in this area. We have come to expect reliability, but Kyocera just keeps raising the bar in the reliability stakes.”

Other features that made Kyocera stand out were the new KX driver version 6 which sees improvements to configuration settings and enhanced graphics to ensure fewer clicks are needed for superior usability. Excellent image quality including crisp text, combined with high engine productivity due to the powerful controller technology mean print jobs can be completed quickly, which is ideal for the demanding modern workplace.

Holborn continues, “We are delighted to receive such glowing results across so many products. The awards validate our continuous drive to provide our customers with value, reliability and performance.”
